Arboriculturist (Tree) Reports

An Arboricultural Report may be requested when there is concern that the roots of a tree or vegetation in close proximity of a property may be affecting, or may present a risk of affecting, the property's structural stability.

In order to assess the degree of risk it is essential to confirm:

• The exact species of the tree / vegetation.
• The distance of the tree / vegetation from the property.
• The depth of the foundations.
• The nature of the soil / clay to determine 'shrinkage potential'.

Upon collation of all of this information a professional decision can be made to determine the likelihood of the property suffering any damage as a result of the tree / vegetation.
